At the Uganda Society for Disabled Children (USDC), every child matters. Since its inception, USDC has been at the forefront of providing inclusive education for children with disabilities across Uganda. Through their various programs, USDC ensures that disabled students receive equal opportunities to access education, regardless of their challenges.
Services Provided:
- Specialized Education: USDC offers special education services designed for children with visual, hearing, and physical impairments.
- Training for Teachers: They train teachers to implement inclusive teaching strategies, enabling students with disabilities to learn alongside their peers.
- Community Awareness: USDC works hard to raise awareness about the rights of disabled children and the importance of inclusive education.
- Vocational Training: In addition to academic education, USDC provides vocational training for young adults with disabilities to enhance their skills for independence.
Together, we can build a society where every child has the opportunity to succeed, regardless of ability.
