The Autism Society of Uganda (ASU) is one of the leading voices for autism awareness, advocacy, and support in the country. ASU offers a range of programs that focus not only on early intervention and education, but also on life skills and pre-vocational training<\/strong> for youth and adults with autism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They run activities that teach practical skills like gardening, simple crafts, household management<\/strong>, and social interaction<\/strong>\u2014laying the groundwork for eventual vocational integration. ASU also supports families with training to help caregivers identify suitable paths for their autistic children as they grow into adulthood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
